There are currently 13 ready-to-wear options to choose from, and they have all the same price: only $195 each, GST inclusive (plus postage and packaging cost). They can be purchased online, by telephone, by mail or in person (see how to order).

The Whimsy range (view all the Whimsies):

  • fits any head size
  • suits all face shapes
  • can be worn on any angle to suit
  • sits securely to the head with a comb and elastic that goes around the back of the head (so won't be blown away on windy days, like in Melbourne)

  • Height – 5cm to 8cm
  • Weight – 150g to 200g

How to order
Louise Macdonald Milliner accepts orders from any country in the world, but only sends the Whimsies to Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and United States at this stage.

For your convenience, there are different ways to order:

  • Online – purchase your Whimsy online, filling our online form (read about security)
  • By telephone or in person – call Louise Macdonald's studio (telephone 03 9650 1352 or +61 3 9650 1352) to place your order over the phone, or to make an appointment to visit the studio
  • By fax or mail – if you prefer to order your Whimsy by fax or mail, fill our printable form


Delivery timeframe
Louise Macdonald Milliner aims to ship your Whimsy up to 5 (five) business days after your order is placed and the payment is confirmed. As this may not be possible, we will contact you to inform the expected delivery time when you place your order.

Please note: Louise Macdonald Milliner relies on Australia Post to have the headpieces delivered.


Cost
Each Whimsy costs $195, GST inclusive (orders from shoppers who are not in Australia will not have the GST charged). There is also the postage and packaging cost (which is waived, if you pick up your purchase at Louise Macdonald's millinery studio in Melbourne).

This cost varies according to the delivery destination (the cost below is per headpiece):

  • Australia: $10
  • New Zealand: $16
  • United Kingdom: $26
  • United States: $28

All the orders are sent to the regions above through Australia Post.

Disclaimer – Some countries have duty fees and other taxes. Please note that Louise Macdonald Milliner takes no responsibility if:

  • you exceed the amount you are allowed to import into the destination country
  • you need to pay any fees to allow your order to leave customs
  • the order is retained for inspection by customs (with consequent delays in the delivery)
